Albireo

Hmm nth to do... so went to find out how the name 'Albireo' for Beta Cygni came about.

During Medieval Age, Arabic-speaking astronomers called Beta Cygni minqār al-dajājah (English: the hen's beak.)
Its current name is a result of misunderstanding and mistranslation.
It is thought that it originated in the Greek name ornis for the constellation of Cygnus, which became urnis in Arabic.
When translated into Latin, this name was thought to refer to the plant Erysimum officinale, and so was translated into a Latin name for this plant, ireo.
The phrase 'ab ireo' was later treated as a misprint of an Arabic term and transcribed as 'al-bireo'.

So the name 'Albireo' came from a serious of accident & mistake. LoL

Winter Constellation

Japanese: 真冬の星座 Mafuyu no Seiza
English: Winter Constellation
Singer: 伊藤由奈 Ito Yuna

English Translation:

Baby tell me how you feel
So please come back to me
This melody won't go away

The midwinter constellation we looked up at together
Is still sparkling unchangingly
Do you feel the same?
I want you to come to me right now
And hold me tight

The night when I woke up
In the middle of a sad dream
Lately I don't wanna see the morning sun
The light shines in

Don't you know I wanna be with you?
Looking up to the stars that are blurred by my tears
Wishing upon a starI don't need anything
I just want to sleep enveloped in your warmth

Looking up alone at the constellation that connects us
It is also sparkling in your town
No matter how far apart we are
I want to send this feeling to you
I want you to hold me tight

The cold wind has carried
A nostalgic melody to me
When you were by my side
My wish is far away

Don't you know I wanna be with you?
Stretching out my hands to the Twinkling sky
Reachin' out to the sky
I can't do anything
Except sing for you
Just for you

The midwinter constellation we looked up at together
Is still sparkling unchangingly
Do you feel the same?
I want you to come to me right now
And hold me tight

(Wishing on a star)

I will be yours and you'll be mine

Looking up alone at the constellation that connects us
It is also sparkling in your town
No matter how far apart we are
I want to send this feeling to you

The midwinter constellation we looked up at together
Is still sparkling unchangingly
Do you feel the same?
I want you to come to me right now
And hold me tight
